Some people think that The Go Lower Programme is essentially just another low calorie low fat or low carb diet. Well this could not be further from the truth. The Go Lower diet is cleverer than these simple but inadequate solutions.

Low calorie and low fat diets work on the basic principle that if you eat less calories and do more exercise you will lose weight. Because fat has a high calorific value the easiest way to cut calories from your diet is to cut fat. However our bodies are not as simple as that. Low Carb diets work on the principle that carbohydrates are bad for us so cut them out but this is also too simple.
